That stands for North American International Auto Show...
It's the Grand-Daddy of all auto shows, in Detroit in mid-January.
I just heard on the radio this morning, that the expected economic impact on local businesses is over $500 million. This event typically creates 1.5 times more revenue for the city than the Super Bowl creates for its host city. That should give you an indication of how large of a scale this show is. This isn't your average car show; it's as grandiose as it gets.
Detroit's in a deep-freeze in mid-January, but for those of you up for braving the elements, I strongly recommend it.
