  • Truck hit my CAR!!!

    Hey guys,
Today I had to to go to a jobsite to do some measuring. I left my 99 Grand Prix GT at my office and rode with my co-worker. When we returned, I found out that a tractor trailer HIT MY CAR!!! The guy does lots of work for my company and he was backing up a trailer when he taped my car. However when a tractor trailer taps a car, the car always looses. AND MY CAR DEFINITLY LOST!! I need a new trunk, bumper, and spoiler!!! The trailer had a scratch. This sux. The guy that hit it stopped and told the people in the office what happened, so it is going to get fixed. It just really sux. I did find out that I have an alarm though. He said that it went off after he hit it.

Oh well to the body shop it goes... I think that I am going to use this excuse to get an SLP spoiler put on it!!!!

Man, you have bad luck with cars. Aren't you glad you don't have a nice new F-body!

trying to make the breed extinct

last Wednesday....a Suburban backing out the parking spot next to my car.

Car is being fixed. The culprit is my #1 customer too. Says he never did see my car. His truck height vs my car height. Door has to be replaced. Cracked right through up to the latch and creased the entire thing. my krinkled fender....sniff sniff....he didnt miss the mirror either.

On a lighter note, I did get to drive my dream car the same day.

            Hey Mark >>

That car in the post with the scratch and dent isn't a Grand Prix. It looks like a Firebird to me...

              Yo DJ,

Door needs to be replaced? This means that the door must come off. What I'm trying to say is when the bodyshop installs the new door, you better make sure they put your new door on right (lining up with the fender and quarter panel) because I had my door repaired last summer. Bodyshop took the door off, did a lousy job putting it back on, bodyshop wouldn't take care of the problem, I had to go somewhere else, they made it a little better, but I wound up realigning the door myself in the end.

At least you guys know who hit your cars. My bird was backed into last summer and the shmuck took off. Ive been driving around with a bra on the front because every time I get some cash together I spend it on go fast stuff. Body shop wants 500 bucks to repaint the front bumper cover. Anybody know an f-body lover in the central new york area who will do a nice job without raking me over the coals?
