non f-body: need some help/support.....with women

i have been all twisted up inside lately over this one woman, i have been very good friends with her for about 12 years(since we were 13) we are both 25, and both looking to settle down or atleast get headed in the right directions in our lives. she graduates from police academy tomorrow, and i am going to go. the problem is that i have fallen completely in love with this women about 4 years ago. i was too young an immature to act on it then and i knew it. now i am either ready, or just mental, all i can think about is her, literaly. i look at another woman and think damn shes nothing compared to Lori. i feel like a creep because i think about her so much, and amazingly its nothing sexual. i know if i tell her it wont ruin the friendship we have. but should i tell her? this is so not like me, nothing ever bothers me like this, i am very honest and up front with people, i always speak my mind, for some reason i am just messed up on this one. let me know what you guys think. to be quite honest, if i knew she would say yes, i would put a ring on her finger tomorrow and never look back!

Like Coop said, let her know. I made the mistake of not telling a girl once, and she slipped through my fingers. She was awesome too...oh well. Tell her. If she knows you that well, she'll see its not like you and understand how you feel and think about her. I think it will be a good thing man. Just don't forget about us man lol . I asked her to go up to the gas station with me to get away from the chaos. In the car I told her pretty much what you should tell Lori. I was crazy bout her. She goes to school hours away and told me that it would be tough. However, I found out through the grapevine that she told a friend that she could see herself marying me. So I figured that if she is that great, she was worth for (for a while). The story goes on, and we are still like best friends. After all my rambling, the moral of the story is:

girls like that do not come around all the time. I found a girl like that once. One that I was crazy for. Only once. I have had girlfriends, but that I wanted, or gave me that feeling. I never got her. Still for a girl just like her.

Sorry to hear that man... But its better than still wondering. Now you know how she feels and now you can persue her (in a non-stalkerish kinda way) and make it right. The same exact thing happened to me once. Its hard to get back on your feet but it will pass bro. Just give her some time to think about it and maybe she'll come around.
