I haven't posted here for a while, but I've got a question any info on would be greatly appreciated. I am putting a gm perfomance part number 12496769 Fast Burn 385 small block 350 into a 67 camaro. The fuel pump we tried to use was a Holley number 12-834. The problem is that the bottom of the pump hits the frame. There is enough room for the pump, but when the engine torques back it would hit and also the fuel line coming out of the bottom couldnt be hooked up. Does anyone know of a pump that might fit or am I going to have to go through the hassles of hooking up an electric pump? Thanks for any help in advance.

Why dont you just notch the frame? A cut off wheel would take care of that. Then just weld some sheetmetal on the notch and paitn it...... with a littel grinding it will look stock .....well almost
