I wish I could disagree with you about the canadian government but it truely sucks. Here in Canada we have gographical problem, not enough people in the rest of canada to sway a vote away from the liberal government, They sure arent the ones I voted for, but due to the fact that the cater two the few provinces that have all the voters they always win. I think it is disrespectfull and disgracefull for a public appointed member of the government to say slanderous things in public and on TV, I belive they should have more tact than that. Truthfully I really dislike our current primeminister and wish he was gone. Cretien was a spineless panzy who couldnt stand up for canada in any way shape or form. I only pray someday Canada will get a Primeminister that wont kiss other countries A$$es and stand up for our country. I know where the oil in the US comes from, I work in the industry. I belive Canada is the second largest provider to the USA ( I could be wrong but we are in the to 5 ). I honestly belive not supporting the USA in the war in Iraq was wrong of the "polititions" as the majority of Canadains were for helping, Me being one of them. I would say Canada has just as much free speach as the USA, at least I dont have to have a NSA back door in all of my computer networks in Canada. I understand the threat of terrorist attacks and wanting to prevent them, as bin ladden has now stated that Canada is not exempt from attacks because we are so buddy buddy with the USA. The CIA created Bin ladden backwhen the US was trying to help afganistan rout the russians. If the american government was truly going after him why wait so long and declare all the things they were going to do? The problem I see with the the information the public gets is its only 25% of what is really going on, The only ones that can truly know what is going on and what is happening are the ones at the top of the totem pole and I think the public is at the bottom. All I said was I dont know who made it the Americans job to "Free" the world. What is the gain? What is the cost? Is it worth it? If the American people feel it is worth it the all the power to you. But alot of middle eastern countries dislike the americans for what they feel is americans pushing their Ideals on them. Is that not what bin ladden said was the reason for the attack on the USA? US foreign policy? And was it also not bin ladden who said it doesnt matter what president is in power, but what American foregn policy is? Im sorry if my information isnt correct but this is what I got from Fox and other news stations.
