  • Audi S4?

My in-laws bought a 2001 Audi S4. The thing is absolutely beautiful. It has 19" aftermarket wheels, AWD, and a twin turbo V8. Does anybody know any performance figures on this car? Just curious, I've never heard much about them.

I believe the year that your in-laws have is actually a twin-turbo V6. They didn't go to the V8 until '04 I think... and the '04 is actually N/A,

It should be capable of a high 13 or so....... the newer V8 models can hit low 13s.

ya, the new ones are easily recognizable with the s4 badges and dual exhaust, the twin turbos have the 2 tailpipes only on the left side. Both are nice, tt is looking at 14 flat quarter and I had the chance to race a new v-8 at atco a couple times, he hit 13.5, nothing special. Of course the black ss did lay it down on his candy arse lol

Last time i was at the Track an Audi with that V6 twin turbo with mild mods hit a 12.9. Thats impressive. He told me he was dropping the clutch at around 6500 RPMs. Insane. Very beautiful cars.

Yeah, I realized what I typed after I posted it. It's a V6, but the car is beautiful. There interior is great, the leather makes the leather in an f-body feel like sandpaper. My father-in-law bought it from the gentleman who owns the Carlisle Fairgrounds and runs the Cars at Carlisle events. They took great care of it and lightly modified it with at least wheels and brakes. Not sure about any other mods. They (my inlaws) had an M3 but wanted something that would be better suited to the winter, hence the AWD.
