  • ARP part #

Can't find it anywhere, but does anybody have a part # for ARP head bolts AND studs? I can't find any sites with them for LT1, only small block chevy.

I can get them from my shop, but I want to find prices online in case the shop wants more, they'll beat it + some. Thanks.

Summit has them but there are so many choices I can't give you a part number. Go here http://store.summitracing.com/defaul...232+4294922130 click on which ARP product, then use the application guide at the top right to narrow the choices.

Here is the chart from ARP but it doesn't specifically show the LT1 setup. http://www.arp-bolts.com/media/pdf_files/headstuds.pdf

My invoice shows ARP Pro Series Head Stud kit # 234-4301. From the ARP catalog, that is a kit with 12-point nuts for all SBC's with 23deg heads.

          Thanks guys.

113-134-3601 <---I'm going to buy those, seeing as how they're 1/3 of the cost of the ones Fred has, and they say for LT1 on them.

LT1 cylinder heads utilize the same ARP bolt designed for a 23° SBC head. Even the majority of the internal ARP bolts are the same for the LT1 as for a SBC. Oil pump stud, oil pump driveshaft, rod bolts, etc.

The 3601's will work and they are indeed cheaper but you get what you pay for and there is a reason for buying the 4301's. They are worth the money just on the addditional clearance alone. The 12pt nuts offer much better clearance for larger rocker studs and pushrod guide plates.
