Its a nice red cap & rotor for the Opti. Possibly, it resolves the concerns some people express that the use of the MSD 6-series multiple-spark boxes causes the dielectric strength of the cap to break down, causing cross-firing from the embedded conductors.

If you were absolutely sure that all your Otpi needed was a cap/rotor, it would be a good choice. But its hard to verify that you don't need a complete unit due to things in the back 1/2 of the case.... worn bearing, rust blinding of the optical sensor or a leaky seal on the harness connector. Always a risk involved with replacing only the cap/rotor.

While we're talking about Opti replacements/upgrades, is the DynaSpark worth looking at? Would there be any advantage to the LTCC or Delteq units over the DynaSpark? Thanks guys and no, I'm not trying to hijack the thread. Just trying to get some info and suggest alternatives. Thanks
