but tragedy has struck a very special person. karen Cooper. Wolfdog Rescue Resources' Sec/Tres. She's the most unselfish person I have ever met in my life. I mean that. This woman is unreal. She's 62, lives by herself in Ok. Drives an old caddy. yet, transports wolfdogs all over the mid west, rescues them from shelters, pays thier vet bills, finds forever homes for them, fosters them in cases when she cant place them right away. jumped in after the fla. hurricaines and made numerous phone calls and got PetCo and PetsMart to deliver 100's of pounds of food to wolfdog shelters all over florida. she's tireless, she works her fanny off..........
well, she's in trouble. she has a 10 month old wolfdog, Appollo, that has hip displacia, she was going to put him to sleep tommorrow after the diagnosis because its going to cost close to 5 grand to do both hips ...and she cant afford it........who could . she rescued this guy from a kill shelter at 4 months..he's 10 monthsl old, and she loves him to pieces. he's a foster a
a perm. home...but my guess is, if we can help pull him through this, she will keep him..........
this lady is a wolfdog angel..........never asking for help from anyone, has even sent wolfdog owners money to help pay overdue rent, car payments, you name it..........
