There is a guy on Z28.com that was asking how good VISA 250/50/16 tires are[$60.00 a piece] I told him that tires are stupid place to save money.

Others chimed on saying they are great and grip well??????

SORRY it doesn't compute!!!!!!!

Your help would be appreciated,this sounds like the AVON ZRs a bunch of people nearly killed themselves with up here a few years ago.

Well.... a couple points.... while for Ken

Depends on what you want from your tires.

Is rock bottom price is the object, the VISA tires are not bad. I have a set on the 94 Z28 that I just bought. Bought the VISAs because the car needed tiers & I needed to do it as cheaply as posibble. The car will not be raced and can hardly spin the tires anyway. They are quite good in the rain, they are quiet & smooth & actually have a fair amount of grip.

I've got The Chicken for the serious stuff, so I've been quite pleased with the VISAs for how the Z is to be used ... especially at $55 shipped for the 245s on the Z.
