    hi as a limey on here i am a bit confused about your insurance as i am thinking of buying a car to leave a my vacation home in florida to use when we are out ther i am a bit shocked as to how much you guys pay for insurance can any one explane how the insurance system workes in the states and why it is so much?

      If you don't like insurance, you don't have to buy it. Just post a bond with the state and voila, you are covered and don't have to pay for insurance.

        If you are thinking about registering the car in Florida, you need to research the specific laws for the State of Florida. Each state sets its own rules and regulations regarding coverage requirements and in some cases controls the costs. Joe1320 will have the info you need.
