got up to take the van and pick up my riders and head the 50 miles north to stal city where my office is...and shaaazam! the yard was a lake! the wind was blowing with gusts of 60mph! my front drainage pipe that goes under my driveway was clogged..... water was rising from the yard towards the house... i got the van down to the lot and let the backup driver take it in..mary brought me back home. i just finished getting the water flowing again...so now... here it sit...... whoopie do.

anyway.. hope yalls friday is better.

no..she saw the video....................

they dont turn on you... but like any canine, if you mistreat them, they could. its an old wives tale that wolfdogs (wolfhybrids) will turn on thier owners... "suddenly the wolf comes out in them"......well shoot...wolves dont attack people in the wild! whats that supposed to mean? except for the recent incident in canada, theres never been a document attack by a healthy wolf on a human in the wild. that one in canada was starved and wounded.........

its how you raise them, just like any dog breed... the only thing the mid and high content wolfdogs will do sometimes, is as they mature, they will "challenge" you.... for the average dog owner, it might freak them out...for it looks like something on wild kindom... snarling and barring teeth...even poking at you with thier snout... when in reality..its a bluff..... now..some folks might laugh when they read this next part...but its true..and it works..
this technique is used by wolrd famous wolf and wolfdog handlers...

remember, to your wolfdog, you are the alpha wolf. ever seen animal planet or wild kindom when the alpha male or alpha female disciplines a pack member? these animals read emotions unreal... well... suddenly "the wolf comes out in me!".... i snarl, bare my teeth and get right in her face.....her ears go back, she drops the ground and exsposes her belly in submission...sometimes even pees....on herself... i put one one heck of an alpha male show too.......

ive had her put her mouth around my arm during incidents...i look her in the eyes like "go ahead........make my day".......she quickly submits into a whinning sibling..."

there is also the 'alpha roll'..... in the wild, the alpha will grab or push on the back of the member needing discipline and the natrual instinct is for the member to drop to the ground...and its dropping ...tha alpha rolls him and plants his paw on the chest or mouth inches from the throat... we choose the hand on the chest... even mary does it... as Keona matures..this goes away... she doesnt challange authority anymore...

i love these animals. they are 10 times smarter than a dog.. and unbelievably mischievious and social...
