Hey guys new guy here. Well, if you wanna know anything about me/my car I guess I'm 17 in Tomball Texas. Unfortunately I drive a v6 Firebird. little mods are flowmasters, k&N, nice sound system setup and other little things. But it's all good! Because this summer I will have a T/A oer a Z28! I'm not a master mechanic because I have little experience and no dad to teach me these things. So don't expect me to be asking a lot of questions! I guess that's it and I hope I'm welcome here!!!!!!

Just wonderin'. Just so you know, I think the 98 LS1 is a little more limited on some of the parts available, but could be wrong. Good luck tomorrow.

Welcome Brian!

As a f-body tech at a speed shop, I'd suggest getting a 01 or 02 T/A or Camaro because they already have the LS6 intake manifold and deleted EGR from the factory. This frees up some engine compartment space and adds some HP too! You shouldn't have any problem finding one for under $15k with reasonable miles on it!
