i was wondering about a few options for replacing the waterpump. have any of you ever heard about this replacement.

    or this one

or the meizere electirc water pump.

which is the easisest to install and requires the least amount of work. i heard some waterpumps require modification of some other parts. thanks in advance.

Currently your water pump is driven by a shaft from the cam shaft, the electric motors you are looking at replace the engine power used to drive the pump with electrical energy. More than likely the 12 vdc electric motors are made by the same manufacturer, and will last 5,000 hours or so. You will need to modify your water pump body to accept the electric motor and its impeller, block off the hole for the shaft in the pump body, and the timing chain cover.

I've replaced my water pump with another standard one for about $75 bucks from Pep Boys that has a lifetime warranty, so the next 3 were supplied by Pep Boys at no charge....... seem to last about 75k.
