  • $$$ for header install

I have one place said it be right around 600 bucks to do my jet hot lt headers, jet hot y pipe, 3 inch flowtech cutout, 3 inch carsoundc at, and hooker catback. Is this in the right price range?

That sounds kinda pricey to me if you have already paid for all the parts and thats just the cost of labor. I put on my headers and had a shop run true duals for me and it cost $300 for the labor, 2 high flow cats, 2 mufflers, and pipe. I understand some people don't have the best place to work on their cars but if you do then I'd highly recommend trying it yourself. Its really not that bad just take your time and there are a lot of online guides you can read before you start.

I agree. Unless you have no way whatsoever to do the install, I would suggest trying it yourself. The headers will give ya some bloody knuckles but there is nothing like seeing and feeling the results of your hard work.

I think I paid about $500 Canadian(about $410USD) to have my headers and catback installed plus a couple other small things. I had it done at a dealership too My buddy worked there so he got me a bit of a deal but not much. The thing I regret was not trying to install them myself. I wish I had at least tryed it to say that I accomplished it myself.
