  • Bad Miss @ higher RPM's

    Hey Everyone,
Im having a problem with my 91 RS 305TBI. The car falls flat on its face once I hit 3000-3500 rpm. During normal driving, you wont notice anything becides the car running a little rough. But as soon as you get on the gas, the car will rev up to about 3000 rpm and then will not want to rev up any farther. It will slowly climb till the tranny shifts. If I let of the gas at any time while this is happening, the car gets a quick surge of power to the wheels. I have been having problems with my headers burning through the spark plug wires so I decided I would replace them before I bugged you guys, but I put a set of new 8.8 mm Accell wires on the car along with an Accell Cap & Rotor and the car is still acting up. The coil & A/C Delco plugs are about 6 months old.

I am thinking this problem is fuel related. I will probably put a new fuel filter on it and check the fuel pressure this week.

    Any other ideas?

    Thanks in Advance,
    Mark B
