Tim and the guys at NJFBOA are a damn good crew of people..... serious about the F-Body, hard working, and know how to have fun. This event should be great! It will be good to get back to Island Dragway, "the dragstrip that time forgot"..... I went there for the first time more than 40 years ago.

The Formula will be there, and it will be spraying the 300-shot Not sure what class I'd run, since they indicate no "W" tires in the heads up class, and I'd have to get my old QTP's mounted back up.

my game face will be left at home....lol unless someone wants to front me the money for a 12bolt. i dont trust my car being that far from home with no trailor on drag radials...

fred...a couple of us are makin the salespitch to let tires be tires if ya know what i mean...
i dont want the fastest cars there to not be their fastest. it just would be bad "official" video work.

I'll probably be talking to Tim at the next CJCFO meeting on Feb 8. I'll see what they can do about the tires. Seems like an odd combo in heads up.... "back half" cars are OK, but no "W" or 11.5 tires (there goes my QTP's out the window too).

Wow that sounds like it would be a blast. It would be worth the 7-8 hour drive for sure.

The NJFBOA is having an informal planning meeting at the Fudds on Rt. 22 in Bridgewater on February 8th @ 6:30. Please try to attend this meet, and don't forget to hit up the regional and event sections of any other boards you visit. We want to hear from everyone, whether they agree of disagree with our ideas. We are always open to good suggestions that we haven't thought of yet.

If anyone on the other boards has interest in the event, please try to get them to leave us some feedback here:
