I have JBA shorties for a 94 formula and called summit for a y-pipe and they said that header was made to fit to stock y-pipe is that true? And if so i should be able to cut my stock of and have in matched up and a new one made that goes into 3'' to fit my slp loudmouth exhaust and 2 cutouts.

I had the JBA shortys on my car a long time ago. There is no way the stock Y-pipe would bolt to the JBA's. JBA includes a Y-pipe with those headers, and it has a slip fit tube right in front of the oil pan. The JBA flanged "collector" on the drivers side is all the way down to the oil filter level, while the stock Y-pipe bolts to the exhaust manifold up closer to the heads.

Contact JBA and see if they can supply the missing Y-pipe.
