    If you want it to be street-friendly but quick at the strip, you don't really NEED to tear into the motor at all, but changing the internals does get you to whatever your goal is quicker. Once you've done the rear-end swap, tighten up the suspension and chassis and have your tranny built to take the power, a good set of long-tubes, 52mm throttle body, good CAI, good cat-back, good set of roller-rockers and maybe even some porting and polishing along with a good tune should give you a good amount of power. A cam swap would definitely be good, esp. after doing the TB and headers. Upgraded injectors, high-flow fuel pump and adjustable regulator will also help feed the beast. This sound about right Fred?
