  • What Do You Think About This?

I just got done installing this on my car this afternoon. It's a custom LED 3rd brake light. You can get them to form or say various things (chevy bowtie, WS6, IROC, Z28, 383, etc.), but I decided on the Bowtie, since I didn't feel like announcing to the world that I have a 305 or an RS . I just wanted to see what you guys think about this mod. I couldn't decide myself if I liked it or not myself until I got in the mail and saw how it looked, and I'm loving it right now. Here's some pictures:

Here's how the unit looks when I first got it:

Here's how the stock 3rd brake light looks:

And here's how it looks with the LEDs, I'll get some night pics up later:

I'm open to all opinions, good or bad!

Here's my attempt at a night shot. As you can tell, it's not working out very well:

Anyone have any tips for taking night shots with a digital camera?

The guy I got mine from makes all kinds, here's a list: Solid, 305, 350, 355, 383, 454, 502, 1LE, Bowtie, GTA, IROC, L98, RS, TPI, WS6, and Z28 (as you can probably tell, they're for 3rd gens). He also makes custom ones.

Thanks for the feedback, everybody! I appreciate the comments.

Can you increase the shutter speed? My digital camera has a manual adjustment for it, maybe yours does to?

It probably does. I guess I should read the owner's manual, huh ?

You might have to go closer as well. The further away you go the more it's just gonna look like a red "dot"
