  • Just got her back from the Header install

WEll I picked her up today. I had JetHot Long Tubes, Jet hot ypipe, hiflo cat, and hooker catback installed. It is a lot quieter than I had hoped for. It's real shaky at low rpms especially when I'm stopped at a light in drive. It drops down to almost 400 rpms and then bounces back up to like 700. I sent the computer out today to get tuned. If that doesn't cure it then Im gonna drive it a little while and hten replace the 02 sensors.

If you guys have any tips or recommendations let me know.

Do you have any other mods? A sig would really help. If you just have boltons you shouldn't have idle problems. When I intalled my LT's mine would hardly idle but that was because my power brake booster wasn't connected because I had to pull the heads and missed it intalling everythign else. You should have a good idle if you just have LT's and a catback.

Sounds like the shop forgot to hook something up.

You might want to try disconnect the pcm fuse for a minute or two to see if that helps. I wouldn't think headers would affect idle...
