Well, i was lucky enough to go with 3.73s, 4.10s and 4.11s (Ford 9") in my 93 6 spd Formula.
My radared(?) top speed with the 3.73s in 6th was 162 (previously 157 with 3.23s)
That is with a 93 T56 which is geared differently than the 94+ T56. The 3.73 gears are just like 4.10 in the later T56's. So in a round about way, you just proved what I said 4.10 geared 93 M6 is like a 4.56 gear 94+ T56.

heh heh that explains a lot...
I do know that they changed the tranny gears when they went to the 42s...which is why the car is no quicker...but I will admit, I did forget that small detail
1998 TA M6 SLP Lid, Cold Air and Bellow, Flowmaster 3", Centerforce DF, Fast Toys MAF ends, JET skip shift eliminator 312rwhp/366rwtq
Don't listen to Rob or Injuneer. Besides them both having extensive experience and knowledge....and having been there and done that, and .....well.....thinking about it now....I guess thats 3 VERY good reasons why you should listen to them....
Me? I got 4.10's in my 97 SS and on a trip to Indy I got 30mpg.....I didn't need to shift nearly as much as my friend that had a 3.42 geared 6speed Z28 that was cruising with me to Indy2K.
A 3.42 geared Auto is similiar to a 4.10 geared 6speed (94 and up Trans).
