A collector will grab this car and it will continue to go up in value. That's just the way it is. There is no way you want to pay top dollar for something like this and then put it on the street and drive it like any other Camaro. All "special" Camaros bring more money than a run of the mill car. Take a low mileage 93 Pace Car. There isn't much difference between a Pace Car and a regular Z/28 except for trim and graphics, right? Well here is a 6800 mile pace car for sale for $35,000 OBO. They made a heck of a lot more pace cars than 1LE's

I'm sorry... but it's still a waste of money. Nowadays, a low mileage, mint condition Pinto is a rare car. Rarity doesn't automatically equal exclusivity... this is still just a basic Z28, with the base engine, and some suspension goodies...

To each their own, you would never catch me spending money like that, even if I had it to throw around... but oh well...

Another thing, 1LE's dont have foglights, thats a way you can tell if its a 1LE. And they have the Smooth bellow w/out the silencer.
