i saved my current Z from the crusher over a year ago, and it had a fair but not drastic ammount of damage to the nose. air bags did deploy, and were replaced but not hooked up. it just hit me with some other post on here about airbags. do seatbelts in 4th gens still work after being in a rather nasty accident? i think it might be time for the roll cage and 5 points. just currious if any one knows if they will still work if they were being used in an accident?

I havent heard of one time seat belts in anything before last year. Some of the newer seatbelts have a system on them for taking some of the shock out of a sudden stop and some of these systems have to be replaced. As ling as when you hit the brakes the belts still lock Im sure they are ok. If the accident was enought to never drive the car again then I wouldnt think you need to worry about them
. But in an accident with major body damage but little frame damage I doubt the hit was hard enough to wreck the seat belts.
