Something about this time of year. The sky is bright blue, not a cloud in sight. The temps are in the 40s. I have my morning cup of coffee and walk out onto my driveway. The sun is just starting to warm me, I hear the track announcer. The racers are already hot lapping around the track. Turbo Porsches, Vipers, Prototypes, vintage cars too. I gets like this for the winter months starting in January. I can actually watch the race from my son's bedroom but I like getting the open air effect of being outside. For a few minutes, I stand there and stare at the 97 WS6. Freshly washed and Zaino'd, it looks stunning. Right now, this place is automotive heaven for the next few weeks. In a few weeks, I'll head up to the Gatornationals for some Nitromethane action.
