  • Check out this $46,000 TA

    http://www.autotrader.com/fyc/vdp.jsp?car_id=174966393

Check this car out lol. I was looking through autotrader and thinking about maybe getting a LS1 TA and came across this just look at the price tag. I e-mailed the guy thinking it was just a typo and he couldn't be serious. This is the reply he gave me.

    Kyle,
The 46,000 is not a typo. Thats the real deal, 45,000 out
the door is what you could pay for it, trust me its more then worth it this car
has been pampered. this is the ONLY TA YOU WILL FIND WITH A TRUE DUAL EXHAUST
SYSTEM ON IT!!!! That systems cost 3,500 by its self, read the info the SLP long
tube headers this thing is decked out and is not a typical stock TA it combines
some stock parts and a few performance enchance goodies. No extra work is
neccessary the only upgrade it may need is tires!!!

So do you guys thing that since I have a TRUE DUAL EXHAUST SYSTEM that I could get atleast $30,000 out of my LT1. You could buy a new vette for what he wants for a used 02 TA and vettes come stock with true duals .
1994 Firebird Formula, M6, Fan switch, 160 thermostat, Pacesetter LT headers, Morosso CAI, TB bypass, True duals.

That dude is under a wrong impression, you never get back what you put in. I would rather give Jay half the money and get his monster.

My Camaro is surely worth more than his Firebird ............it's very rare....and they don't make 2000 Camaros anymore

And I am sure my SLP options are better than anyone elses. So how much should I ask for mine????????

Besides that, I want to know what drugs this guy is on....I need some!!!!

Seriously. Jay's entire exhaust system is better than what this guy has, IMO. True duals doesn't give gobs of power like some people might think.

I sent the guy an email asking him the price, because the ad is obviously a typo. I also asked him what factory option combo it had to make it one of a kind, if maybe it was a special dealer modified car?

LOL.. his reply will be funny.

If he can sell it for $46,000.. I'm going to sell my car for $50,000. It has ZR1 wheels on it, afterall and its a drop top!

I found it quite funny. If anyone actually bites on that add my car is going up for sale as a rare 94 formula with the only true duals on a formula lol.

That guy is an idiot if he is on the level. But, somewhere out there might be an even bigger idiot with a wad of cash. If the little idiot gets the big idiot's money, then the little idiot becomes a rich little idiot.

                              My email to him:

"Just an FYI - www.ls1tech.com, look in the vehicle classifides. This car is not the only T/A with dual exhaust. This car is not worth your pricetag... good luck finding someone with more cash than brains. Low mileage '02 f-bodies go for low 20s. "

                              We'll see what he says.
