Its not too bad, but I do miss the old site. I'm sure, one we get used to it, it won't be too bad. Took your suggestion about looking for Weld wheels, its pretty easy if you choose By Brands from the Shop list.

By brand yes,but they are all mixed up,prostar, draglite etc.etc. 15 x 10 with 5.5 BS is somewhere on page 4 or 5,it used to be all the prostars on one page and easy by just looking down the page to find the right one,now you have to flick through the inventory.

      It was faster before,,,,,

Actually, there's a tab that allows you to select which product line you want to look at as well, so maybe that will help. I'm just discovering all this as well, so I'm in the same boat you are. Worst case scenario, there's always the phone, right? lol

It's always best to prepare yourself with the correct part number. I know the catalog (hard copy or online) never listed the 15x10" 7.5" BS Weld Pro-Stars, but if you went to the Weld online catalog, got the part # for them, then went to the Summit online catalog and put in the part number, with the correct vendor prefix, they would pop up. I haven't checked the site recently.

Weld, on the other hand, has really screwed up their website - got to be one of the WORST I have ever seen. It is almost impossible to find the various lines of wheels, and the specs for each available model. The only way to find the sizes is to click on the "sizes" button, and it gives you a drop down list of diameter/width/$$, but no part #'s, no backspace info, NOTHING OF USE.

Go there and try to find a "Pro-Star"..... hint:

            Go to the main page

            http://www.weldracing.com/

            -click on "Weld Racing"

-when the pictures of the wheels show up, there are that look remotely like a Pro-Star or a DragLite, so you have to go to the top bar and click on "Wheels".

-Next screen gives you about 6 obscure categories of wheels, and you have to know that the Pro-Stars and DragLites are under the "Sport Forged" tab (doesn't everyone know that?????)

What are these morons thinking of when they design a website that is supposed to help them sell the parts they make?

            :end rant:

My guess what happens is that these guys are hot rodders and can't do their own web so they farm it out to people who know nothing about the product, and the things that make sense to us about organization of the products & data never occurred to the web author - He just did it the way that made sense to him or the way he knew to make it work with some input from the vendor who is so familiar with the products and data that they tried it and it seemed fine. They wouldn't have the presence of mind to ask customers to review the design to see if it makes sense to the public.
