  • Bentley Continental GT brake pads – anyone tried this place?

I'm due for front pads on my 2016 Continental GT and the dealer quote is just ridiculous, so I've been searching online for alternatives. I landed on a page that had some basic info about Bentley brake services and there was a button to "See More" but I couldn't find any actual customer reviews or photos of their work. Has anyone here actually used this shop or one like it in Dubai for their Bentley brakes? I'm mostly concerned about them using the correct compound so I don't end up with brake dust all over my wheels or worse, rotor judder. Any real experience would save me a lot of trial and error.

No reviews or photos on a page like that is a yellow flag for a car this expensive. I'd ask them for pictures of recent Bentley or Audi group jobs and the exact pad brand they plan to fit. A real shop will send those without fuss.

Continental GT fronts are big carbon-heavy discs on a very heavy car, so the pad choice matters more than the shop's name. OEM-spec pads from Textar or Pagid are usually fine, and dust is mostly down to the compound. Ask what they're fitting before you book anything.

Used an independent for my old Flying Spur and it was fine, but I went and watched them do the first hour of the job. They showed me the box and the part number before it went on the car. Might be worth doing the same here.

Rotor judder on these almost always comes back to hub cleanliness and torque sequence on the wheel, not just the pads. Make sure they clean the hub face, torque the wheel nuts to spec in a star pattern, and bed the pads in properly. Also ask if the wear sensors are included, since they're a separate cost.

What was the dealer's quote, and did it include rotors? On a 2016 GT with decent mileage the discs may need doing at the same time. Also, how many km are on the car, and are the fronts the only axle that's flagged?
