I've been reading up on my 2016 Audi S3's DSG because it's starting to hesitate when pulling away, and I'm curious about how a proper Sharjah Audi Gearbox Workshop would go about finding the issue. Do they start with a basic scan for fault codes, then check fluid pressure, or do they go straight to dropping the mechatronic unit? I'd love to understand the actual step by step process before I take my car anywhere, partly because I don't want to get ripped off and partly because I'm just nerdy about how these transmissions work. If anyone here has had their DSG diagnosed in Sharjah and can explain what the mechanic actually did, I'd really appreciate it. Also curious whether they use the official VAG software or generic tools. Thanks.
