I think i got it when i saw the 95's. WHen they changed the style in 98 that just compounded my desire to have a firebird. Bought a 95 Formula when i was 20. Had it for about a year and had to sell it due to a insurance hike. Years went by and now have my 99

I saw the movie "Smokey & The Bandit" when I was 10. Soonafter, I saw "The Cannonball Run" and I was HOOKED! My first car was a Black 82 Firebird, then an 84 Trans Am, then an 87 Camaro, and I now have my current car a 97 Z28. I already priced what the cemetery will charge to bury me in it . . . .not too bad!

I just aquired one of those actually....

of course it's 1:18th scale and is sitting on my shelf...

When I was a kid (like 3 or 4), there were 2 cars that I absolutely loved.... corvettes and firebirds. I remember seeing a picture of a 3rd gen with the sun setting behind it with nothing but the running lights on....I was hooked. Vettes I always loved for the power and styling.

Went to car shows and what not...got hooked on to the camaro at that point.
