Good news: my oil filter works. Bad news: it filtered metal shavings. Rap rap rap rap. Doh!
I'm assuming rod bearing(s). So now do I get machining done, replace all the bearings (main, rod, & cam - might as well), probably need rings too since I've been using oil, or just buy a short block?
And if I buy a short block, might as well do a 383 stroker. And forged internals. And try to keep from getting divorced.
