i have a qquestion for all you guys who have bought cars online. what is the best service that holds your downpayment untill you get and test the car, then sends it and the rest of the money to the seller. i think you guys called it an escrow service? if i have it right, then what is the safest one out there, and what ones should i stay away from?
also, does any one have any information on a company called Square Trade? i looked on their site (http://www.squaretrade.com/cnt/jsp/index.jsp) but couldnt find a specific statement telling if they serve as an escrow service. any help would be greatly appreciated.
