or any slower than you were moving for that matter, i mean if they are only going to slow you down, you clearly can't be in that much of a hurry...but maybe we just dont realize how important they are?

The only thing they are important for is fuel for road rage. I am by no means, a speeder. I have a completely clean record, and I drive like most safe drivers would. Yes, it's above the posted speed limit, but not much. Maybe 30 - 35 in a 25. That's normal. All I ask is if someone wants to drive the posted limit, don't pull out in front of someone like they are in an extreme hurry.

Eeeeexactly!! Its even worse when its on the freeway. I'm no advocate of speeding down the freeway, esp. into the triple digits, but when most of traffic is doing 75-80, that's where you'll find me...until some moron thinks they need to be in front of me and drive 65...

My favorite is when someone is to pull out and there's a decent enough gap in front of you to do it but they sit there and think about it for half an hour while you're bearing down on them. You can see the wheels turning in their head, trying to decide if they should cut you off or not, meanwhile they're inching forward into the lane... you can just SEE their thoughts... then when they decide to pull out you're 3 feet from them. Just had that happen again the other day. I just lay on the horn for about 2 minutes til they get the point.

What is worse is when you are on a 4 lane street with no other cars in the lanes around you for several hundred yards back and someone does what you are talking about and pulls into the lane that you are in. That drives me nuts. Like...there are 3 other lanes jacka$$!!!!

my traffic pet peave is in a 4 way stop. As you aproch it a car comming up from another direction does a rolling stop thru it as you completely stop then you start to go and the car behind the one that just went thru the intersection also does a rolling stop and tried to go thru before you. That tics me off to no end.
