    copper pulls you over for speeding and you are well aware of it:

    copper: do you know why i have pulled you?
    you: i guess its about the gun in the glove compartment
    copper: you were speeding...WHAT GUN?
    you: the one i shot the guy in my boot with
    copper: you have a body in the boot?
    you: yes, i shot him to get the drugs he was carrying. they are also in the boot
    copper: you have drugs and a body in the boot and a gun in your glove compartment?
    you: yes thats right

    he cant deal with this so he calls for back up and his inspector arrives

    inspector: sir, i am told you are carrying drugs?
    you: drugs??? what drugs?
    inspector: my constable has informed me that you have confessed to carrying drugs
    you: he is a lying git mate, i dont have any drugs
    inspector: what about the body?
    you: BODY??? he is pulling your leg mate, i dont have a body in my car
    inspector: you do have a gun though, in the glove compartment?
    you: a gun? he is a bloody liar mate, have a look

    inspector has a look and finds nothing

    you: told you he is a bloody liar, next thing he will say i was speeding too

      What's a boot? A boot to me is something you put on your foot.

            Ah......a tale from jolly ol' England. But Copper?.......I always thought they were called Bobbies.

            Yep the British are unique and this brings back memories of the good (?) times I had with my two British MGA's. Boot and Bonnett were very commonplace terms. Adjustable wrenches were called Spanners too. And who can't forget about things like Smiths Instruments and Lucas Electrics (also known as the "Prince of Darkness" because they always failed you). And don't forget about side curtains either.........that's what you had before roll up windows became popular.

                Funny, but wouldn't work. At least here in America. Most cops here in America now have on-dash video cameras in their cars and the officers are equipped with a microphone for an audio feed to the video camera.
