4100 pounds!? That's ridiculous. It's going to take a Hemi to get it moving.

as you know, its projected to have a 6.1liter 425hp hemi....... so its power to weight ratio is slightly less than my goat....

4100 pounds??? I know they wanna go retro, but come on. Some things were better left in the past. And fat boat anchor weight is one of them.

Hopefully the production version is much much lighter. That is just insane.

no i think the fattest f-body is the trans am weighing in around 3800 for a convert. Im pretty sure a z28 weighs around 3350 or a little more.

Man, I hope they are not that heavy come production. I am thinking about getting one when they are finally made.

Not even close. A 4th Gen factory TA is roughly 3500-3550. The Camaro's were roughly 3350-3400. The verts respectively were about 100 lbs more for each.

Huh? Most muscle cars were the lightest during the 60s-70s... without all the added safety equipment, creature comforts, and sound-dampening stuff...

It seems that all the retro cars are bringing some big numbers on the scales. The new Mustang is heavy and the up and coming GT500 is supposed to be near 4000 pounds also. I heard the new Camaro will be heavy too. What's the deal?
LS15 Power! Another LSx engine coming soon.

I know - I was just poking fun at Wolfman and his GTO. My car is no light weight!
