I've just heard that officials are citing Cheney for the lack of the stamp but invetigators have officially blamed the victim for causing the accident by stepping out of the line he was in.

Some are, some aren't. Some are over the line.

It's funny how Iran has said "screw you" to the rest of the world and has restarted enriching uranium and the biggest news story is the VP accidentally shot some one who screwed up and walked in the line of fire. If that doesn't show you there is a bias in the media against republicans nothing will. They would not have done this if it were Al Gore. The headlines would have been "republican lawyer screws up and walks in front of VP Gore who accidentally shoots him". Why aren't more people paying attention to Iran? How sad it is we have to put up with the media the way it is.

whoopie doo, big f deal, guy got peppered.... do you know how many people get peppered ever year dove, duck, goose, and quail hunting.........

and last night, some local channel media dude had a hand full of no. 8 bird shot in one hand, massaging it around...and a cut open shell in the other, while he "updated the incident" report......

makes me puke.

I'm not sure what your definition of getting peppered is but I don't consider bird shot that gets into you far enough to get into a vein that then travels to your heart just getting peppered. This is exactly what I've been saying all along, hunting is something that is a ton of fun but needs to be taken seriously and incidents like this DO give hunters a bad name.
