  • Ouch, my little finger.

I smashed the end of my pinkie finger installing my SFCs today. It's purple and blown up like a balloon. Owie.

Just thought I'd share my suffering.

Yeah, I got them in. I havent had a chance to drive the car yet to test them out though. For final tightening I used a 18" breaker bar. Those suckers are on there good.

LOL Yeah, I grossed myself out a bit typing that response.

I just took the car for a drive with the SFCs on it.

Very noticable difference. It tracks true over bumps now. It used to pull around a bit. It feels more solid, I'm very pleased.

Mine got worse when I went to 17" rims, now the SFCs made it better than ever.

I got the SLP bolt in kit for convertibles. Very easy to install, other than smashing my stupid finger.

SLP is clearancing them out at a discount, I'd hury up and get some if I were you.

In a minor industrial accident with a punching machine I built, I cut off part of my thumb. The little piece fell to the ground and I immediately picked it up and went straight to the most squeemish guy in the company and said "Hey Dennis, look at this. I cut off part of my thumb." The reaction was golden. Then I went to the hospital and tried to talk them into sewing it back on, but they just laughed. Sooooo, I went home and stopped at the drug store to get some medicine for it and got my truck stuck in the snow and had to dig it out. The thumb was hurtin by then, so I went straight home and decided to do time-lapse documentation of the healing (or putrification) process over a course of weeks. That first weekend, I went to the gym and tried to do my workout. When I picked up the weights, blood squirted out, so I had to wait a week before trying it again. I put the little piece in a jar with alcohol and gave it to my girlfriend for Christmas. I haven't seen her in a while, so I'm currently accepting applications for new volunteers. Enjoy!!!
