  • Everything is breaking at once!

The last couple of days have not brought me good luck. The WS6's a/c just crapped out. Strike one....... Parked it and went to take the 94 Camaro. Started it and there is a mechanical tap, so I parked it as well. Strike two. Project 93's a/c hasn't been recharged yet so it's parked. Strike three. Had to take the Fiero to work. That car's a/c is a dream. Freezing cold in a matter of minutes, regarless of the outside temperature. Too bad it just hasn't received it's modernized powertrain yet. 300 HP in this little go-cart should be just about right.

Did I ever mention I hate a/c work?

It gets hotter inland. No ocean breeze, either that or the breeze is just plain hot. Evenings aren't too bad.

                  It's only gonna get hotter.

Oh, you'll get an inland sea breeze. Unfortunately, it comes in the way of a category 4.

Litterally. It's already topped a hundred here. We had 104 last week. This week is really nice though. I think it was high 70's or low 80's today. Great car washing weather.

I always suspected you were a sick puppy, this confirms it.

Now here's something really wierd.......... I started up the 94 again to trace the noise. It started right up, tapped for a couple of seconds and returned to normal. Nothing I could do to make the noise reappear. Test drove it, she ran just fine. I'm not going to knock it. Best guess is a lifter was sticking.

What kind of oil do you run in it? You might want to try dumping some SeaFoam in the oil and letting that get into the lifters and help them clean themselves out.
