A further example of how far SLP has fallen from respected Tier 1 supplier to silly "badge" company...

Dave actually claims the price is justified because "SLP spent $3 million developing these lights..."

What a shame...Ed must be soooo proud...

$25,000 for headlights? Thats crazy. And they don't even look that great.

Ok, you really cannot compare the 2, as they are for 2 different applications...technically. If you read the description of the SLP ones, they require a different hood for proper fitment (all of which have been destroyed). I've seen the set in the second link on an black WS6 and, I must admit, it did look decent at worst (kinda cool at best). I can see why he's asking $25k...they are 1 of 3. But, that is a little much for something you can't even use.

There was a different hood, as in not the SLP firehawk hood?

                            For the ultimate Pontiac Collector!

These are functional, but cannot be mounted
to a Firehawk - The prototype '98 Firehawk hood
had more material in the headlamp area to
                            accomodate the smaller encapsulated headlamps.

Sorry, I do not have a hood - they were destroyed.

You are bidding on one set of prototype SLP
1998 Firehawk Encapsulated Headlamps as shown.
