My own thoughts are your could get an LT into the high 11s/low 12s NA with about 5K if you put the right stuff in it. I have little knowledge of rice but even with the light weight it would have to cost more than 5K to get one of those to run the same times NA.
I do not count putting a Chevy motor in one as the answer. You have to use the boat anchor it came with to outrun the LT.

Anyone see those Video's out there that some people put V8's in a couple of Ford focus. That would be Interesting.
