Let's see, first was a '64 Datsun B210, 1200 cc's if 4-speed fury. RWD! replaced that with a '67 Impala, 2-speed powerglide behind a 283- hey, at least it was a V-8. That car was too reliable, I couldn't kill it, so, in about 1973 I bought a '67 MGB- twin carbs, taught me more than I ever wanted to know about reliability. 2-seater convertible, my Z28 is the spiritual successor to that car....

Now, how about a thread about your favorite car, or your fastest car?
2001 Z28 A4 - 160 deg t-stat, 3.42 gears, WS6 sway bars, rear springs and shocks, UMI SFC's, Torque Arm and STB, leather Firebird seats, Borla, SLP Y-pipe and lid, ZO6 cam and springs - 332 RWHP and 346 RWTQ, not bad for 'almost stock' - work in progress

1970 Dodge Dart. Slant 6 3 speed auto. A few years later it had a 340 6 pack (not stock), pistol grip hemi 4 spd, 3.91 posi. I got pulled over for pulling the front wheels off the ground. The cop was on a motorcycle so I said hey if you can drive on 2 wheels why couldn't I. He laughed and let me go.

lets see my favorite car is too close to call. I absolutely love all three of the vehicles I have now (In my sig). But the bike isn't considered a car so it's a tose up between my R/T and the T/A. My fastest vehicle used to be my bike but as soon as I get the car figured out my T/A will be my fastest.
'95 T/A Conv., Green, Tan Top
            '00 T/A Silver

I am ALL the way with you on your favorite.....I ALWAYS wanted a Hemi Cuda convertible, pref. yellow with a white interior....ahhhhhhhh Would never afford one.
Also loved those crazy, high-winged beasts, the "Superbirds" , the ones everybody hated and thought were ugly. Would REALLY never afford one now.
1996 White T/A, LT-1 auto with only aftermarket Flowmasters, shift kit, and a LG Motorsports G2 cold air kit.....that's it! She can't eat all the 'Stangs but will die trying.

My first car was an 86 Firebird, 2.8L V6. First in a long line of f-bodies. I don't have any scanned pics of it. It was blue with silver around the bottom.

My first car was a 1980 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme 4-door, handed down from my dad. Originally had the diesel 350, when that blew my dad had a 350 gas put in. I loved that car - and my love for oldsmobile started.

Went to a 1986 olds cutlass supreme 4-door again, this time 307 "Y" motor.

Then 1995 Pontiac Grand Prix, 3.1 V6, fixed it up from a crash into a curb.

I also bought a 1986 Olds Cutlass 442, rebuilt the engine (307 "9"), new paint, < 80,000 miles, and only drive it on the nice sunny days, and to car shows. I love that car.

Then I bought my 1996 Formula. I have to say, from a driving standpoint, the Formula is the funnest BY FAR, and I want a newer one!!

First car... 91 Firebird 3.1L V6/Auto Red w/ RACING STRIPES!!

This is the car that got me hooked on F-Bodys... I sometimes wonder if I would still be a F-Body guy if my first car was a mustang or import. I think I would have been... cause I picked this car over a stang, so it seems I had taste even at the age of 16!

Ha ha ha. My first Car was A 1989 hyundai Excel. It was Senior Year in high school. Picked it up for $400. Drove it for about 4 months. It would not start some times b/c the starter would not work, so I would Back up on this hill at the school parking lot so i can push start it. No A/c, No power steering, but it had a really nice sound system (cost 3 times what the car was worth).
Then I had Red LED strips under the entire car so it was all red. Limo tint all the way around.

1962 Chevy II, 2 dr sedan. 153 ci, four cylinder, 1 barrel carb (Iron Duke). 3spd on the column, but had no shift lever (shifted it with a Philips screwdriver until I got a lever ). Needed head work and a clutch. Repaired it when I was 15, before I even had a license to drive. Paid about $50 for it. Eventually sold/traded it for some cash and a set of used Cragar SS wheels with tires on them. The guy wanted it to make a race car (don't think he ever did).
