  • Joe, I am so sorry to hear about all this. I know you are going through a terrible time right now, especially emotionally. There must be soooo many thoughts that go through your mind, I wonder how you sleep at night. I know you are, and we are very thankful you are still here. Don't ever stop praising the one above for that, and things will get better for you.
Thank you for your post of thanks. I haven't been here that long, but I feel like I know you personally, that's just the awesome way everybody here makes us feel. Gosh, reading your post (sniff, sniff) (O.K., a woman thing!!!) makes me really thankful for all I have, and knowing that it could be gone in a second.
Your life is the most important thing, but I know you are torn up about your baby, too. Joe, I don't know how that car saved your life, but it did. She was taking care of you too ya know after the great years you gave to her The pics are unbelievable, and it would literally be making me sick if it were my car, too.
Keep your spirits up.....and when you're feeling down, your "family board" will be here to cheer you on and brighten your day I hope everything works out now for you and moving forward with this whole ordeal.

And you are soooo very welcome for everything we are trying to do, no more thanks needed.

And for the "poopwipe" with the trailer, well, we won't go there

      • I'm glad God helped you get through, Joe. It almost makes me to see what you've been through. I can only image the pain and discomfort as you were hurt and trapped in there, let alone seeing/feeling your baby turn into sharp edged parts

I hope that #%@% gets what he deserves. Jail sentence minimum, along with his #%@% paying for every penny of agony and material losses you went through.

I'm glad you're recovering Joe, you're still in our prayers.

        • Joe,

I haven't been on on this board as long as most of the members have, but thanks for what you do for f-body.com. Your moderating and tech skills have been top notch.

Very glad to hear that you had God on your side that day and you survived.

I try passing people all the time on PA Route 422, now I will think twice before doing so. That jagoff deserves time!

Make a speedy recovery and good luck with everything

              • Joe,

I don't post alot here but I do read the forums almost everyday. I am glad to see you came through this ok for the most part and pray for your speedy recovery. You definately had someone watching over you that day.

I hope at the very least they make that other guy cover the cost to repair your car to the way it was before the crash.

I hope you have a speedy recovery.

                  • I don't post a whole lot since my 78' was totaled but I still really respect this place and all of the moderators. I must be on here still reading everything that's posted daily.

The way I see it all we need to do is find another Trans Am that had the driveline destroyed so its just the shell and then get swaping.

"We can rebuild him, we have the technology to make him stronger and faster then ever before" Or something along those lines.

                    Get well soon man.

Looking at those pics, it's unreal how lucky you are to be here. I'm sure you already know that better than anyone. I'm just glad you're okay, relatively speaking.

I have you in my thoughts and prayers. You and the WS6 are fighters. You'll both recover in due time.

If you find yourself angry, put it in God's hands just as your life is!! It doesn't help to be angry... I'm so glad you're on the road to recovery!! (no pun intended) You'll be better before we know it!!!

                            • I too am one of the newer members of this board but it's amazing how I feel like one of the family already.

                              Joe,

I'm glad you're still here to tell us your story. Those are some of the most amazing pictures I've seen. I think we owe the engineers at GM a nod for doing their job correctly as well.

I wouldn't worry too much, Karma will take care of the other driver. One way or another...

                              Relax and heal Joe.
