Glad to see your healthy enough to post on the 'net
. I cannot say anything better than what's already been said but I'll give it a try
Right now, please just worry about your body healing, Tendons and cartilage take the longest of all to heal, so don't feel depressed or down if even after 6 months your not back to normal. These may take 1-2 years to recover to your liking. I had to quit Aikido so my shoulder and right knee catilage/tendons could heal from unrelated events (over-stretching, twisting). It took a year for my shoulder to feel normal again. So please be patient with your body, if it does not cooperate with you for an extended time.
As for the accident, best best I can figure, is to get a lawyer to handle all the details. Let him do all the paperwork, and errand-running related due to the accident, so you can focus on mending your wounds. The stress from you trying to handle it all yourself will slow down your body's healing. You have your hands full enough already.
I am just downright glad your alive! I'll be praying for you for a speedy recovery and return to your everyday life

Hopefully each day will get easier and better for you.

room, but the wait was an enjoyable one.
Comforting, I thought to myself. At least it was coming from someone who would be very knowledgeable about the subject. He is a very pleasant man to be around and I thanked him for all his efforts. I'll be seeing him alot in the future, hopefully with no injuries that is.
We laughed, he gave me his prognosis and explained everything . The good news is that no nerves were severed.
I have good mobility and things are looking good. I may need more attention to the legs, if things don't improve it's MRI time. We just have to go one step at a time. I shook his hand, we both smiled and I hobbled down the hallway that lead to freedom, feeling oh so glad to be alive.
