Buick Regal with a 3.8 liter V6. Very reliable, plenty of power, decent fuel economy and it's extremely comfortable. FWD though.
Red 95 Trans Am: M6, Moroso CAI, Magnaflow, Spohn sway bars, back to life as of 2/15/10!!!
    SOLD- Kinda miss it
94 Del Sol VTEC: 27 city/ 33 highway, knee deep in slowness
    SOLD- Good riddance!
2006 Ford Fusion: 2.3, 5 speed, could run 15lbs of boost with a 150 shot and it'd still be slow

I'd go with an RX-7. I had an '83 and loved it. The rotary engine puts out enough power to make them fairly quick and they last a long time, if you take care of them.

2000 Black Camaro w/3800 V6. Hotchkis STB, Whisper Lid, K&N, Flowmaster exhaust.

I'm gonna have to get some pics of the turbo swap my buddy just did in his 2nd gen N/A. Got a cosmo turbo motor from japan w/a microtek stand alone ecu. Thing should rip. He has a small 13b turbo on it to start with, but once he lays down the cash for a big turbo, it's gonna be all over.

Well here's my story. My mom was in need of a new car. She needed something very reliable. I don't think I will every own a foreign car but when she asked me what was the most reliable I had 1 answer. Toyota Camry (Lexus ES I think). I know it's not rear wheel drive. I'm not sure why you are bent on a rear wheel drive. Personally I like all wheel drive. So I took her and she bought it. Yes it was brand new so it's been reliable except the battery just failed. Their service was excellent and got her fixed and gave her ride to and from the shop. I know a guy with a 97 Lexus ES who has had zero problems out of it other than normal stuff.

my dad just picked up a 01 solara v6 5spd. very nice car and i kno he wont get stuck between his work bout an hour away and our house. toyotas are very good cars. if u can get the 4cylinder one even better, then u dont have to do the timing belt. toyota trucks have frame rot issues and the cars, well pretty much minor stuff like a faulty evap sensor

Really? I heard that they had more recalls last year then cars they made? Of course i'm not sure how accurate that is, but its what i heard.

I have 2 buddy's that both have mr2's now one finally blew his engine in it around 100k or so another buddy with an mr2 went through 3 or 4 honda engines in his civic. Now his MR2 is constantly breaking thing's. In the past 3 or 4 months he has towed his MR2 enough times that the local towing company knows him by name.

Yes, fellas, we all know that any car will last as long as you take the best of care of it. Sometimes that will mean just being faithful on routine maitenence, or whatever else. Our f-bodies can last just as long as any import
