Love the color combo. Don't see a tremendous amount of silver second gens. Actually, come to think of it... You just don't see a lot of silver Firebirds period.

    Thanks for posting the pics.
Thanks. Some people think 10th Anniversary T/A when they first glance at my car. It's the same color scheme except I have Black interior rather than Silver.

Hey every old bird has potential until it's melted down and made into a Honda.

Welcome aboard and love the '79 TA As for the hawks check out the boards @ Firehawk.org (usually 1 for sale and many topics on pricing since only owners keep track) The general consensus amongst us 4th gen owners is 30K for a 4th Gen is asking too much . Low low 20's at absolute most. You gcan get a pristine one in the mid teens if you shop around

Got into cars the same way you did, through a relative Although my great aunt had a Black 1932 Auburn duckback, the effect was the same!

Thanks for the info. I did find a few '02's on ebay a few weeks back and they had around 3500-7700 miles on them and both were Red WS6 M6 t-top cars. They also both had buy it now's for around $24,000 and I thought that was a great price for them. There's actually one 02 T/A Auto White WS6 and it has 2,200 miles on it and this guy is asking like $38,999 and I'm thinkin' he's goin' to be sitting on that price for awhile cause those cars arent worth that much. I also found a 02 CETA Convertible auto with 900 miles on it and they were asking like $47,600 for that. I wouldn't mind buying my buddie's '01 Sunset Orange WS6 M6 NHRA Edition. That car is spottless and he just drives it to cruise nights so it has only about 5,000-6,000 miles on it. The only mods he did were K&N Filter & SLP Firehawk exhaust.
