My dad has an 87 Toyota. We changed the clutch in the compressor because the compressor wouldn't kick on. Then we vacuumed everything out. Now we can get the compressor to kick on to accept the r-12. What can i do to get the compressor to turn on?

Find the low pressure switch on the low pressure line from the evaporator to the condensor. If it has 2 wires going to it unplug it and jumper it with a paper clip. Don't let the paper clip touch anything metal. If it has 3 wires I don't know which wires to jumper.2002 Electron Blue Vette, 1SC, FE3/Z51, G92 3.15 gears, 308.9 RWHP 321.7 RWTQ (before any mods), SLP headers, Z06 exhaust, MSD Ignition Wires, AC Delco Iridium Spark Plugs, 160 t-stat, lots of ECM tuning
