Drove one just a few weeks ago. I thought the same thing. it moved out well and felt light on it's feet....er, rubber. I wouldn't mind a Saturn Sky.

          Not a typo.

          Direct injection.

750 psi at idle, 2100 at WOT.

The diesel engines I'm working with at work have fuel pressures from 5000 psi to 15000 psi range. We don't mess with the high pressure side of the fuel system much. Not only is the pressure dangerous, but once you break the tubes loose you have to replace them.

Wow... I know I am guilty of it at 45psi. But I wouldnt want to be around if someone tried to unhook one of those fuel lines without depressuring the system!!

The Solstice is nice. Real nice. The hardtop roof available for it makes it look real nice. Expensive from what I understand, but nice.

Haven't driven the turbo edition but I did get a chance to drive the regular version (at the GM Auto Show In Motion 2 years ago...) and I have to say I was impressed as well. For a 4cyl car I thought it accelerated fine and handled very well. I'm sure the extra pop that the turbo gives can only make it better.

Aftermarket. There are two styles I know of. One is a sportwagon hardtop made by EDAG. This one, I believe, is available now.

                        Here's a couple pics...

The other is a more traditional Hardtop, however, it has not been made available as of yet. SCCA cars race with these, but they are not yet sold to the general public.

                        On an SCCA car...

My 93 Corvette Convertible had the hartop and it's the only way to go. If there is a hardtop option for a Solstice or Sky, I'm going to give that a serious look.
