Just an update, besides I'm going crazy sitting around... The pain is not bad at all and I'm only taking advil 2-3 times a day. I even ended up going out and putting a new battery in my sister's car last night with one hand. Luckily there was someone there to pull the old one out. I don't dare try something like that. I did get the new one in because it had a handle on it.. I did carry up my small travel tool create and put it in the trunk. I shouldn't have done that, but no one else was home and it didn't seem to hurt as long as I keep it close to my body and used my left hand for most of the weight. My post op appt is next Tuesday and then I hopefully can get cleared to do some things and maybe start PT..

Update and good news and bad news...

Good news is that I'm already have 60-70 percent range of motion back. It's moving much fast than I thought. Mine was relatively minor surgery compared to some, but if I had known I would have had it done in the spring.

The bad news is that I went back to work today...

              That's great, Gary.

The range of motion... Not the work.

Just don't get over-confident when the pain stops all together. I tested my knee a couple months too early because I felt great. Surgery number 2 was far worse.

Thanks for the advise.. I know I've pushed it already and it's not even 3 weeks. As of last night, we had 80 percent motion back.. Now time to start getting it stronger..

Yeah, going back to work was a bummer.... It's like I never left... SSDD...

Ok, I figured I'd post a 12 week update.. I can't believe it will be 12 weeks tomorrow since the surgery. I am at about 95% strength and 100% motion. Again, mine wasn't the most involved surgery, but I would not hesitate again if I had another issue. Actually the worst thing I did, was not having it done 4-5 years ago like I should have..

Most people let things go on too long and by then they are so weak and the loss of motion is so great, by the time they have the surgery, it takes them 2-3 times longer to come back.

Take care of yourself as there's only one you....
