Here's an idea - if the COPS ask you to do something, DO IT!

If he wasn't acting like a fool and flailing all over and swinging and having a hissy fit, they probably would not have tazed him.

He didn't even want Kerry to answer his questions. He just wanted to get in as much info in as possible before he was asked to leave. Maybe by doing so, he made some of the students ask themselves the same questions. For this I applaud him. He took it a step too far by not leaving when he was told. Then he not only resisted arrest but it looked to me like he was trying to fight the officers. Just because he asked the officers not to taze him, while resisting btw, doesn't make him right. 6 cops 1 student? I doesnt matter. My step father is a police officer and i been on ride alongs and have seen people on drugs have amazing amounts of strength. Was he on drugs, did he have a conceled weapon?? No but they dont know that and its better safe than sorry. U ever see a police officer come up to your car with his hand on the holster? Same thing. Better safe than sorry. Luckily he didnt but someone mentioned earlier that when a police officer tells you to do something then do it! Granted some cops are bad and maybe a little rough but really what do you expect when you act like that. Most of them just want to do there job and go home to there kids and family's just like you. How do you think his mom would have acted if she was there and saw him acting like that? My mom would have beat my a$$ in front of everyone! Most times you show them respect and they'll show it back. They got a crapy under paid job as it is.

Watch the video again. One of the cops had no trouble handling him. So that isn't an issue here. Don't get me wrong. I wouldn't have a problem if they roughed up that jerk. Yea I bet his mother is so proud of her son. I think he missed a few A$$ beating in his youth.

my fault... I didnt really watch it. ill take a look. Yeah... Mama most be so proud!! HAHA And if theres an investigation and they find that they abused there power then by all mean take corrective action against them! But I still stand by what i said. if a police officer says for you to do something or stop doing something then do it! If there wrong you can settle it another way. Civil.

I didn't see anything there that looked like an abuse of power. At first, they were just going to escort him out, but he fought with them. He escalated the issue. So then, they were going to arrest him. They took him down and were trying to cuff him. He obviously wasn't letting them have his one arm to get the cuffs on and they were obviously telling him what was going to happen if he didn't give them that arm. If a cop tells you, "Give me your arm or you WILL be tasered," then you ccan probably bet that if you don't give them your arm then guess what....you're gonna get tasered. I have seen plenty of videos on the show COPS and a couple of times in real life, while riding out with a police officer friend of mine, where basically the same scenario plays out and nobody throws a fit about it then. The cops did their jobs and got the guy under control with the tools they had. If the moron had just cooperated in the first place then he would probably have been escorted outside and been allowed to leave. But he made them take the steps they did.
