  • This place has grown way too quiet

Not a single message in the off-topic section in the past three days. Where is everybody? This used to be a busy place.

Joe, you might need to let those spammers back in just so we have some new material.

Yes, kind of so- I usually stop by daily to see what is going on, but only f couple new posts- I'm still an F-body enthusiast, but don't have too many questions these days- though I am glad to try and answer questions-

Maybe everybody is too busy in the good weather driving? Ken must be pretty busy, now that he is retired- on his own schedule-

This is a busy time of year with everyone doing as much as they can outside. Still, I'm stuck at work with a light schedule today so I'm being selfish and looking for my f-body friends. Hope all is well everyone!

Sigh..... chalk some of it up to the death of the f-body. Years ago, the board did have more traffic but it was still less than some of the other f-body boards that turned a blind eye to certain standards. The standards of no profanity, no personal attacks, no pornography, etc. This has always been a family and workplace friendly board, what I see on my of the other sites is just plain offensive. Maybe the rude and obnoxious like that kind of behavior, but I grew out of that in junior high school and moved on to better things. It is a shame traffic is down, but being able to read though the board and not see a war of attacks, profanity every other word or other objectionable stuff is a tribute to those that post here.

In fact, I can't remember the last time I had to edit someone's post or ban a member...... Those things happen daily in other forums. Congrats to the fine folk that do share their time on here and I hope things do pick up.

Oh.... Norm, what's the plan? the usual sick HP?

Traffic is way down on most of the Fbody boards that didn't make some changes to embrace the 5th gen Camaros. Maybe there is some way to attract some 5th gen folks if we want to (possibly some new forums?). But that is not up to me.

Besides Norm could probably fill these pages with lots of intersting things since he has so many vehicles in his garage. So Norm...............what are you up to now with the truck?

If you all can raise me an extra $25k, then I'll be your token 5th gen guy!

Heck, I still read this board and I don't even have a Camaro anymore.

I agree. This board has ALWAYS been a very respectful place which is why I still come here long after I sold my T/A. Not only are the people who post here good people, but the Moderators have done outstanding things to keep it that way.

I'm sure traffic will pick up.

Norm - That's not idiocy. That's awesomeness! I love modded RWD S-10s. They make the coolest cruisers.

Well, I like having this beater S10 around so I can haul stuff for my little house projects and to have something to drive to my sisters farms. The truck rolled over 210,000 miles so I thought I'd freshen it up. When I started pricing out replacement engines, I decided it would be stupid to put money back into the 4 banger. It would be more fun to build a mild LS6 and put a T56 behind it. Then throw on a powerriing nitrous kit (my buddy has one laying around) and call it good. So, it will probably make around 425 RWHP before the juice. The engine and tranny are finished and I just installed the Corvette fuel system (required to run my setup). I installed a Granatelli 255 l/hr fuel pump.

Should be a fun little beater.

                    Here are a some pics:

I've been busy with grad school and working. Summer break starts Wednesday when I turn in my grades! WOOOOO!

I can say I really enjoy this board. There are a lot of you on here with a tremendous amount of knowledge regarding these vehicles. I appreciate it even though traffic may not show it.

                              Hi everyone!

Just joined. I am from Levittown, NY. I own a 98 Trans Am (show) and my husband owns a 2000 WS6 that is worked (for go!). I would love to set up my profile picture of the cars but for some reason I am not able to get into the User CP.
                              Here are some pictures:
